PIETAS Pietas, veiled, standing front, head to left, sacrificing out of patera held over altar with her right hand and holding box of incense in her left. BMC 720. Cohen 97. RIC 99. Struck from slightly worn dies and with a minor scratch on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.

From the Joseph Markowitz Collection (1897-1981), brought to Israel in 1949 and kept in the family ever since.
